Meet the doctors that practice from
Shakespeare Street Complex:
PHMC regularly engages registrar doctors - these are fully qualified medical doctors who are taking extra training to specialise in general practice.
The rest of the health professionals you see below operate their own medical practice from our facilities. They have engaged PHMC to take advantage of the amazing services our team has to offer.
Meet these health professionals below:

starting 19/01/2026
She has been living in Australia since 2019 and had the pleasure of calling Mackay home from 2022 to 2024, where she worked at Mackay Base Hospital. These years provided invaluable experience and helped her build strong connections within the community. She also speaks three languages: Thai, Burmese, and English.

In January 2025, she began her journey as a GP with Caneland Medical, and she is excited to continue serving the people of Mackay in her new role at PHMC.

She is particularly interested in chronic disease management, preventative health, and women’s health. Supporting patients over the long term and helping them achieve better health outcomes is truly rewarding.

She is looking forward to continuing her work here and meeting even more wonderful people in the community!
