Welcome, Dr Ash!
Dr Ashwini Kagi starts at PHMC Brisbane Street on Monday the 4th of March.
​
Ash has moved to Mackay from Moranbah with her family and adores life in regional QLD. She has worked as a rural doctor for many years and enjoys caring for the diverse range of people in our area.
​
She has special interests in dermatology and skin cancer management, gynaecological issues, pregnancy care and weight management.
​
Dr Ash will be available 3 days a week;
Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday.

What is MyMedicare?
​
MyMedicare is all about formalising and strengthening the bond between you, your GP and your preferred primary care team. Research shows that seeing the same GP regularly can lead to better health outcomes.
​
If you hold a valid Medicare or DVA card and have been to see us in person at least twice over the last 24 months, you’re now eligible to register as a patient of one of the doctors that practice from PHMC. Registration is voluntary. You can begin your registration online through Medicare Online or we can start the process for you at your next appointment.

Farewell to Dr Navin Raveendran & Dr Matt Nettle
Thank you to Dr Matt Nettle & Dr Navin Raveendran who have been amazing doctors at PHMC for the past year.

Dr Navin finishes with PHMC at the end of January and is off to practice GP medicine in Sarina, Dr Matt finishes in February and is off to Bowen.
