DR Alex BolanD

Dr Alex has been proudly practicing medicine in the Mackay region since 2021. Although he is a New South Welshman at heart, he has truly found a home within the community.
​
With a genuine passion for rural medicine and all aspects of general practice, he is dedicated to building strong connections with his patients and supporting them throughout every step of their healthcare journey.
​
Outside the clinic, you’ll find him soaking up family time with his wife, new baby, and much-loved pets, while still trying to keep up with watching and playing all types of sport.
DR Bec Johnson

Dr Bec is a proud Queensland local, born and raised in Toowoomba.
Her family has called Mackay home since 2019, and they absolutely love life there with her wonderful husband, son, and their beagle.
​
In her spare time, you’ll often find her out on her bike. She has even taken on the River to Reef Festival rides, completing both the 30 km and 60 km courses.
​
Professionally, she has a special interest in orthopaedics and minor surgical procedures, and is passionate about helping patients stay active and healthy.
DR Sharr Myat Thwe

Dr Sharr is originally from Myanmar. Her family have proudly called Mackay home for the past four wonderful years! When She isn't at work, you’ll usually find her chasing after her energetic toddler or spending time with their sweet 13 year old rescued tabby cat.

Dr Macdonald is joining us from Southside Medical. He is working out of the Brisbane Street complex.

A little bit about Andrew! Australia is the fourth country he's lived in. He has also lived in South Africa where he was born, UK & Canada!

He is a dog dad to the cutest Rottweiler pup, Nala.
You can find him playing some pretty average golf on his days off.​​​

Dr Pearl is working out of the Brisbane street complex. Her special interests are Women's health and minor surgery.
A little about Pearl, she is married to her amazing Husband & they have the cutest Jack Russel puppy who loves to lick anyone she sees.
She loves watching romcom movies with predictable endings! If She isn't watching a movie or walking along the beach, you’ll find her stargazing.
DR Ivy Hodson

Dr Ivy comes to Paul Hopkins with a wealth of hospital experience. She looks forward to learning all things GP! She will be practicing out the Brisbane street complex
Ivy enjoys work involving critical care, anaesthetics, paediatrics and palliative care. Outside of work, Ivy enjoys spending time with family and friends; camping, travelling and playing games.
Her favourite holidays have been couch surfing around Europe, and caravanning around the country for 8 weeks with her little friend Dobby; the deaf, naked house cat!
