Dr David Ewing

Dr David Ewing is a registrar doctor joining the PHMC team in early February 2024 at our Shakespeare Street clinic.
​
Dave grew up in Canada and moved to Mackay in 2020. He has a long history in mental health training and worked in psychiatry for several years before coming to General Practice.
​
In his spare time, Dave enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, is a huge sports fan and dabbles in some leathercrafting.
​
Special interest area's: Mental health, skin cancer, men’s health & lifestyle medicine.
Dr NEDA

Dr Neda joins the PHMC team as a registrar doctor in January 2024. Neda has been working at the Mackay Base Hospital for the past few years and is now joining us in the General Practice scene. She is looking forward to meeting all of our patients and welcoming new ones too. Her special interest area's are womens health, preventative medicine and chronic care.

In her spare time she loves camping in the beautiful Mackay and surrounding area's, loves fashion and has an impressive mug collection.

Dr JB HOANG
taking new patients
JB is joining our team in August 2023 and is looking forward to meeting all of our patients at our Shakespeare Street clinic.
​
JB is an experienced Australian trained emergency doctor, new to the general practice scene. Outside of medicine he is master diver with a passion for spearfishing, fishing and all things water! He grew up in French Polynesia and speaks 4 languages.
​
We are excited to welcome JB with his expertise and experience.

Dr Geoff Rankae

Geoff was welcomed to PHMC in November 2022. Geoff is a registrar with extensive medical experience. He has been in Mackay for 3 years, working in the Emergency Department at the Mackay Base Hospital. Geoff and his family absolutely love the Mackay life. He enjoys cycling and jumping in to try new things - which he has found a great experience doing so in sunny Mackay.

Geoff is available for appointments at our Brisbane Street Clinic, Monday to Friday.

Dr simone mackrill

Simone joined our Shakespeare Street complex at the end of January 2023. She has experience in rehabilitation and enjoyed surgical assisting which led to her entry into general practice. Simone joined PHMC as a registrar in her first term, she looks forward to learning more about all-things-GP!

Simone loves singing loudly to music in her car and is finally learning her way around a piano.
Simone and her husband are kept very busy by their 3 children.
