
Our cancellation policy
​Missed your appointment? ​

If you fail to attend your appointment or do not cancel within 4 hours, you may be charged a fee of up to $95.
​
You will be unable to book another appointment until this is paid.
​
If the doctor has charged a cancellation fee, you will be contacted by a PHMC staff member either via phone call or SMS. Your SMS will have a secure link to pay your fee's. Please either pay via this link or call/attend the clinic to pay.

Multiple failures to attend may result in additional fee's charged and you will be unable to book an appointment before pre-paying the full estimated fee of that appointment, which is non-refundable if you do not attend again without cancelling at least 4 hours prior. ​

Our cancellation fee's are payable even for usually bulk billed patients.

If you book a telephone appointment and do not answer the call after 2 attempts, you may also be charged a cancellation fee.

You can make, manage & cancel your appointments via online, you can download the app "AMS Connect" from your mobile app store and follow the prompts or book online at our website.

Why We Charge a Cancellation Fee:
At Paul Hopkins Medical Complex, we value your time and the time of our doctors, nurses and staff. Each appointment is carefully reserved to ensure every patient has access to the care they need. When appointments are missed or cancelled at short notice, it limits our ability to offer that time to another patient who may be waiting for care.
